Philantrophy & Service
Our philanthropy is Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, and all money that we raise for the organization goes to our local Children's Hospital in New Orleans.
Through the hard work and dedication of our chapter, we were able to raise $14,600 for Children's Hospital, the most that has ever been raised by a fraternity at Nicholls ever before.
We are also the only chapter on campus that has established, annual events. Each fall, we hold our Chili Bowl, and we put on Donut Dash in the spring.
Members of Louisiana Chi not only put on philanthropy events, but supports the philantrophy events of the sororities whether its a donation or creating teams to participate in the event.
During the 2017-2018 school year, Louisiana Chi averaged 85 community service hours per member. Members have participated in the following:
Boo at the Zoo
The Ross Mullooly Project
Visiting the Nursing Home
